Elite European Automotive Technician

Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Role Overview
We are seeking an Elite Automotive Technician with current, hands-on expertise in late-model German vehicles including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche and Skoda. This is a position for a technician who already operates at a high level and can produce results immediately. You must be actively working on these vehicles now and be capable of diagnosing and repairing complex faults without supervision and comfortable working to OEM or higher standards in a high-expectation environment.
Core Responsibilities
● Perform advanced, accurate diagnostics on late-model European vehicles
● Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently
● Execute precision repair and maintenance work strictly to manufacturer specifications
● Carry out European performance work including supporting modifications and upgrades
● Interpret and apply technical data, wiring diagrams, and OEM service information
● Maintain an uncompromising standard of workmanship, accuracy and cleanliness
● Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining technical excellence
Essential Skills & Experience
● Current, proven experience working full-time on late-model German vehicles
● High-level diagnostic expertise – this role is not for parts-fitters or guesswork technicians
● Strong understanding of modern European vehicle systems and strong Diagnostic Tool Capability
(VCDS, AUTEL, ODIS (VAG) XENTRY (MB) ISTA (BMW) amongst others)
● Advanced fault-finding and analytical problem-solving ability
● Exceptional attention to detail
● High technical literacy and confidence using OEM repair procedures
Performance Focus
● A genuine, ongoing interest in European performance vehicles is essential
● Experience with performance upgrades, tuning-related work or high-end builds is highly regarded
● You must be motivated by technical challenge and pride in elite-level work

High-Level Automotive Service Advisor
German Auto Dynamics – Arundel, Gold Coast
(Full Time 6-Month Maternity Leave Contract with Possible Extension)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced High-Level Automotive Service Advisor to cover a 6-month maternity leave contract with a possible extension within our specialist European workshop. This is not an entry-level service role. This is a Full Time role working between the hours of 7:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be the primary point of contact for discerning, high-value clients who expect precision, transparency and professionalism at every stage of their vehicle’s service journey. Our workshop specialises exclusively in late-model German vehicles and our clientele expect dealership-level presentation with specialist-level technical understanding. Attention to detail is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
● Act as the front-of-house liaison between clients and technicians ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication
● Manage service bookings, vehicle check-ins and job card creation with absolute accuracy
● Interpret and explain advanced diagnostic findings, repair requirements and performance-related work in a confident, client-appropriate manner
● Prepare and present detailed, transparent estimates aligned with premium expectations
● Proactively update clients on job progress, delays, and additional findings
● Maintain meticulous service records and compliance documentation
● Ensure every client interaction reflects a high-end, detail-driven service experience
● Work closely with technicians to prioritise workflow and maintain quality control
Essential Experience & Requirements
● Proven experience as a Service Advisor in a European / German vehicle environment
● Strong working knowledge of current-model vehicles and modern diagnostic processes
● High level of written and verbal communication skills
● Demonstrated ability to manage high-value, detail-oriented clients
● Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
● Professional presentation and demeanour consistent with a premium brand
● Ability to operate independently and maintain standards without supervision
Highly Regarded
● Experience with performance upgrades or specialist automotive work
● Background in independent European specialists or prestige dealerships
● Confidence discussing complex repairs with technically savvy clients
Contract Details
● 6-month fixed-term maternity cover with possible extension
● Immediate or near-immediate start preferred
